Job Summary:

The Electrical Engineer II is a mid-level engineering position at LSI that leads and directs engineering efforts on military training devices. The engineer performs the planning and design of system-level hardware training devices, and interfaces off-the-shelf computers with military aircraft converted into training devices.


 
Background Requirements:

Education:

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or higher (preferred) or other engineering discipline.

Required Experience:


• Three (3) or more years of engineering experience required.

Desired Experience and Skills:

• Prior military avionics maintenance experience preferred.
• Experience with CAD programs is strongly desired.
• Experience with software design and coding is desired.
• Experience with Low Voltage 3 phase power preferred.
• Experience with Linux operating system preferred.
• C/C++ programming language preferred.
• Willingness to assist in the development of training level of effort estimates for customers.
• Willingness to assist in the development of various proposal efforts within the company.
